Science: “‘Junk DNA’ is what is in control” –
Ramtha on “junk DNA” over a decade ago
This is huge as no one ever said Junk DNA was of any value, yet look at these Ramtha quotes going back 15 years, which is irrefutable proof what RSE students were taught. The naysayers have no credibility to pounce on this, IMHO.

Buy Local Whenever Possible
Submitted by MC2020 reader Melody Rae, Yelm WA

Yesterday at the Yelm Farmers Market, I happened upon a group of people who had just come from seeing the final showing of DEATH BY CHINA at The Triad Theater.  They were discussing how their eyes had been opened regarding the subtle chipping away of American jobs and prosperity over the last 20 years. I had seen the film the day before, and, it so happened, that I had spent my morning online trying to find pencils for my classroom that were American made. Pencils used to be a huge manufacturing item in our country. Now, most of them come from India or China. One article that I read in my search, mentioned that if the students and families who buy sheets for dorm rooms purchased them from a US linens company, that company could quadruple their workforce and hire approximately 1300 new employees!

August 31st Filament Eruption - NASA SDO AIA

This Is the Most Astonishing Solar Eruption I’ve Ever Seen
I don't know if it's the most amazing view of a solar eruption ever recorded, but it probably is. When our friends at NASA Goddard sent us this image of the latest solar eruption today, we just couldn't believe how astonishing and ominous it looked. So astonishing and special that NASA titled their image "Magnificent CME Erupts on the Sun with Earth to Scale." And in private one of their engineers told me "AMAZING STUFF!" So yes, they are in awe too. Fortunately, it didn't travel directly toward Earth. According to NASA, however, it "did connect with Earth's magnetic environment, or magnetosphere, causing aurora to appear on the night of Monday, September 3." No knocked down satellites or communications craziness.

SDO ECLIPSE SEASON
Twice every year, around the time of the equinoxes, Earth can pass directly between the Sun and NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), producing a series of beautiful eclipses from the point of view of the spacecraft. SDO's autumnal eclipse season began today, Sept. 6th, and already there has been a partial blackout of the sun

Joan Halifax: Compassion and the true meaning of empathy

Just Wondering
Zen Gardener
Isn’t it obvious that there is a significant global awakening happening? Just as the Mayans predicted so many years ago, the apocalypse would become apparent in 2012. But many misinterpret the apocalypse to be the end of the world, when in fact it actually means an “un-covering, a revelation of something hidden.” As many continue to argue the accuracy of the Mayan calendar, it can no longer be argued that a great many people are finally becoming aware of what has been hidden from them for so long. Of course this awakening is not an overnight process. It takes time to peel away the many layers of lies to get to the core of the ultimate truths. It would be beyond pretentious for us to claim to know all of the secrets of the universe. We don’t. Everyday we are humbled by what we don’t yet know. However, it is becoming clearer by the day what isn’t true. And by that measure alone, it is possible to determine if you’re one of the people beginning to wake up.

Bits of Mystery DNA, Far From ‘Junk,’ Play Crucial Role
Among the many mysteries of human biology is why complex diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and psychiatric disorders are so difficult to predict and, often, to treat. An equally perplexing puzzle is why one individual gets a disease like cancer or depression, while an identical twin remains perfectly healthy. Now scientists have discovered a vital clue to unraveling these riddles. The human genome is packed with at least four million gene switches that reside in bits of DNA that once were dismissed as “junk” but that turn out to play critical roles in controlling how cells, organs and other tissues behave. The discovery, considered a major medical and scientific breakthrough, has enormous implications for human health because many complex diseases appear to be caused by tiny changes in hundreds of gene switches.

New Astro Camera Allows Anyone To Do Timelapse Photography Easily!
Have you ever dreamt of doing timelapse photography but never had the courage to try because it all seemed so complicated? That can easily change now. A new astro camera allows anyone to easily begin with timelapse photos. The Astro camera is designed to be inexpensive, durable, small enough to fit into your pocket, and easy to program. Gizmag reports that its functions are accessed via a three-ringed control system, which is used to set the duration of the time lapse sequence (0.25-12 hours), the range of camera movement (0-360 degrees) and the interval at which photos are taken (0-60 seconds). Separate left and right buttons below the interval ring control the pan direction of the camera.

Indian Man Single-Handedly Plants a 1,360 Acre Forest
A little over 30 years ago, a teenager named Jadav "Molai" Payeng began burying seeds along a barren sandbar near his birthplace in northern India's Assam region to grow a refuge for wildlife. Not long after, he decided to dedicate his life to this endeavor, so he moved to the site where he could work full-time creating a lush new forest ecosystem. Incredibly, the spot today hosts a sprawling 1,360 acre of jungle that Payeng planted single-handedly. The Times of India recently caught up with Payeng in his remote forest lodge to learn more about how he came to leave such an indelible mark on the landscape: It all started way back in 1979 when floods washed a large number of snakes ashore on the sandbar. One day, after the waters had receded, Payeng , only 16 then, found the place dotted with the dead reptiles. That was the turning point of his life.

Loud Unexplained Sounds Disturb Residents In El Dorado County
Unexplained sounds of unknown origin have been reported world-wide for many. This time residents in the town of Pleasant Valley, El Dorado County, USA report unusual booming sounds that are heard several times a week. These sounds are far from pleasant though and locals can feel how the ground is shaking beneath them. This has been happening for years and everyone seems to have a different opinion what is causing these booms. Locals have difficulties determining the direction these booms, but they seem to originate from somewhere near the foothills.

Mount Fuji Eruption Imminent? 2011 Quake Building Pressure
Volcanologists speculate that a disaster is imminent
Scientists say last year's Great East Japan Earthquake has greatly increased the pressure of the magma chamber underneath Mount Fuji. The pressure is now higher than it was the last time the volcano erupted more than 300 years ago, scientists say, according to a report Thursday. Mount Fuji, in Shizuoka Prefecture, last erupted in 1707, less than two months after a large earthquake. That blast scattered ash and cinders as far as Tokyo, 60 miles from the volcano. Last year's earthquake and Fukushima nuclear crisis were unparalleled disasters, but people in and around Shizuoka Prefecture fear the ultimate catastrophe — the eruption of Mount Fuji — may be looming. Experts at Japan's National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention say there is heightened pressure under Mount Fuji due to last year's devastating earthquake and aftershocks. It is feared the increase in pressure could trigger an eruption.

Two Stone Age 9,500-Year-Old Artifacts Unearthed
Archaeologists have unearthed two Stone Age figurines – c. 9,500 year old – in Tel Motza located between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The ancient figurines, found in excavations prior to widening Highway 1 in the area, depict a ram and a wild pig or buffalo. The ram, made from limestone, has intricately carved horns and is about 15 centimeters. The second figurine is more abstract and depicts a large animal with prominent horns that could be a bovine or buffalo. “The sculpting is extraordinary and precisely depicts details of the animal’s image; the head and the horns protrude in front of the body and their proportions are extremely accurate,” said Dr. Hamoudi Khalaily, one of the co-directors of the dig from the Israel Antiquities Authority.

West Nile virus epidemic the worst America has ever seen
Cities across the United States are being ravaged by an outbreak of West Nile virus, and experts say the epidemic is the worst the country has ever seen. "The number of West Nile virus disease cases has risen dramatically in recent weeks, and indicate that we're in the midst of one of the largest outbreaks ever seen in the US," Dr. Lyle Petersen of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tells reporters this week. So far in 2012, the number of confirmed cases of West Nile in the United States has come close to around 1,120, or four times what the US experiences in an average year. The Texas Department of State Health Services says that they’ve spotted 586 confirmed cases so far this season, and have blamed the outbreak on 21 deaths — more than half of all fatalities in America, currently tallied at 41. Between 2003 and 2011, Texas has only been linked to only 10 West Nile fatalities.

Arc Lightning: Causing Massive Explosions, ‘Earthquakes’ and Destruction Worldwide
More and more there have been massive explosions, ‘earthquakes’ with no seismic activity, and destruction to nature and manmade structures worldwide that elude scientific explanation. All of these incidents have occurred without any warning and within a span of time that is very, very short. So short, as a matter of fact, that such phenomena can only be explained by lightning — what we have labelled Arc Lightning.
The entire electrical grid of the planet has been profoundly and fundamentally altered over the course of the past one hundred plus years. And we don’t mean the artificial manmade grid that has been created to generate and disseminate electrical power to the countless homes and businesses around the globe. We’re talking about Earth’s natural electrical grid, which scientists have measured in so many ways.
