Happy October!  Indian Summer here in Yelm is spectacular.  I just harvested the juiciest pears ever from my orchard.  The extended summer weather has been a blessing, but the lack of rainy days is changing the character of this beautiful land.  Are you prepared for the changing environment? Click here

The article of the week is more than just another good read.  Reverend Dr. Richard W Banach, has submitted a well-written, thoughtful treatise synthesizing Ramtha’s teachings and biblical doctrine.  It is definitely worth the read; definitely worth sharing with friends and family. Click here

The internet is great, but wouldn’t it be great if we didn’t have to rely on computers, but could connect brain to brain?  We could send and receive thoughts to one another—wait a minute—don’t some of us already do that?  Watch this video and see Michio Kaku propose this outrageous idea. (He really should come to RSE) Click here

I received this next video from several sources this week from a few of our readers.  “Whole Foods Hidden Camera GMO Sting”.  I was shocked and disappointed to learn about this dishonesty. Click here

A Christian View of UFO's and Biblical History
_________Jesus’ Intergalactic Gospel_________
Submitted by The Rev. Dr. Richard W. Banach D. Min, Yelm WA. © 2012

Regarding the essay Jesus' Intergalactic Gospel, Richard Banach the author says, "In my journey with Ramtha since 1983, I've been intrigued with the subject of Jesus and Jehovah, Ramtha and Religion, at its best; and how might I prepare an affirmative sermon of hope for the world on such a complex, controversial subject. It seemed like a daunting challenge. When I approached Ramtha about the pressing urge I felt to attempt to take on such a Magnum Opus, he spoke encouragingly. "Write it. Submit it." (July 27, 2005) At last, here it is: a sermon of hope in today's troubling times to share with one's family and friends. Readers are encouraged to freely pass it on to anyone, anywhere. Help make it part of the global conversation." Keep Happy

Theme: A United Methodist Minister presents a bold, going where we've never gone before, Space Age understanding of Jesus' mission and message.

Whenever Jesus spoke about God, he never acknowledged Old Testament Jehovistic attributes of God, like jealousy, changeability, and bloodthirstiness for vengeance, even genocidal war. How then did God come to be thought of as a “man of war,”(Exodus 15:3) sometimes acting badly, like a larger version of us? Was it just an early tribal deity stage of progressive revelation we never outgrew? Or could our spiritual ancestors have also encountered something so traumatic, it necessitated Jesus coming to save the world from its aftermath?

Might Star Trek provide a clue, as when Captain Picard was mistaken for God by a civilization only at the Bronze Age of development? (Who Watches the Watchers) And what about the 1984 movie Iceman, and modern cargo cults, wherein tribesmen mistake scientists for God?

Mary and I, and members of our United Methodist church began exploring these ideas and others, like those in Zecharia Sitchin’s 12th Planet, and now in Ramtha’s Part I and II of A Master’s Reflection on the History of Humanity. We were boldly going where few ministers and their congregations had ever gone before. We wondered if they somehow correlated with Jesus’ gospel, enriching it even further with intergalactic relevancy for today's Star Trek generation, while still affirming a born again Christian's personal relationship with, and experience of, God’s presence within. Ponder these perplexities:

According to Ramtha, the popular concept of God, defined by Bishop John Spong as “a being, supernatural in power, dwelling outside this world but invading it periodically to accomplish the divine will,”came about when humans mistook aliens (sometimes referred to as "gods") for God, and/or his emissaries. Some were great ones aiding in human progress. But others, like Jehovah, from the planet Nibiru, were simply evolved tyrants, advanced only technologically, using the fear of God to prey on humans for their own glory. (Bishop John Spong: A New Christianity For A New World - A Bishop Speaks to Believers in Exile, p. 21)

California Gas Stations Shut as Oil Refiners Ration Supplies
Gasoline station owners in the Los Angeles area including Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) are beginning to shut pumps as the state’s oil refiners started rationing supplies and spot prices surged to a record. Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) stopped selling gasoline on the spot, or wholesale, market in Southern California and is allocating deliveries to customers. Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) is also rationing fuel to U.S. West Coast terminal customers. Costco’s outlet in Simi Valley, 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of Los Angeles, ran out of regular gasoline yesterday and was selling premium fuel at the price of regular. The gasoline shortage “feels like a hurricane to me, but it’s the West Coast,” Jeff Cole, Costco’s vice president of gasoline, said by telephone yesterday. “We’re obviously extremely disheartened that we are unable to do this, and we’re pulling fuel from all corners of California to fix this.”

Why Hypnosis Does Not Work For Some Of Us - Scientists Explain! Hiding Behind Our Conscious Minds
Hypnosis is a very effective treatment in a variety of phobias. However, not everyone is able to be hypnotized, according to researchers at the Stanford University School of Medicine. There are people whose brains differ much from those who can easily be under successful influence of hypnosis. Researchers used data from functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging to identify how the areas of the brain associated with executive control and attention tend to have less activity in people who cannot be put into a hypnotic trance.

Space Watch

A coronal mass ejection (CME) left the sun this morning, Oct. 5, and it could be heading for Earth. Orbiting at the L1 Lagrange point, the Solar and Heliosphere Observatory captured this image of the expanding cloud:

The source of the cloud was an eruption of magnetic fields surrounding sunspot 1582. Based on the size and speed of the CME, as well as the location of the blast site, a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field is likely on October 8th around 11:00 UT

Glass slivers that store data forever unveiled by Hitachi
As Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones prove, good music lasts a long time; now Japanese hi-tech giant Hitachi says it can last even longer -- a few hundred million years at least. The company on Monday unveiled a method of storing digital information on slivers of quartz glass that can endure extreme temperatures and hostile conditions without degrading, almost forever. And for anyone who updated their LP collection onto CD, only to find they then needed to get it all on MP3, a technology that never needs to change might sound appealing. "The volume of data being created every day is exploding, but in terms of keeping it for later generations, we haven't necessarily improved since the days we inscribed things on stones," Hitachi researcher Kazuyoshi Torii said.

Earth Changes – Magnetic Pole Shift Could Be In Progress
I highly recommend this Youtube channel for subscription. The daily 2 or 3 minute news bursts are perfect for the busy researcher trying to keep their finger on our planet’s pulse. This special is a good taste of his level-headed yet free thinking approach, giving a perceptive evaluation of the changing magnetic aspect of our planet, a serious issue we need to keep a close eye on, especially during a heightened sun cycle that will continue escalating into next year and the heightened vibrational changes enhanced by the galactic precession we’re passing through. Sure should be interesting. Love, Zen

Update - David Blaine

Why David Blaine's million-volt stunt is shockingly safe
Illusionist relies on protective chain-mail suit during 72-hour 'Electrified' ordeal
Magician David Blaine's latest stunt boasts lots of high-voltage snap, crackle and pop — but experts say he'll be safe from electrocution as long as he wears his chain-mail suit and metal headgear. The show at Manhattan's Pier 54 calls for 1 million volts of electricity to flow from one Tesla coil to another, across his metal-clad body — for 72 hours, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET Friday. He's going without food and without a good night's sleep, with electricity crackling around him constantly. Blaine's past endurance trials have included sitting in a box suspended above the River Thames in London for 44 days with only water, and standing unharnessed on a 100-foot-high (30-meter-high) pillar in New York City for 35 hours. He says the "Electrified" show is "one of the craziest things that I ever dreamed up, and I don't know how I could go beyond it."

Nature Watch

Nature's weirdest events in numbers
As the clock struck 12 and Auld Lang Syne rang out, many breathed a sigh of relief that the new year had arrived without a hitch. This time last year however, residents of a small town in the US were feeling uneasy after mother nature sent them some seemingly apocalyptic signs. The town of Beebe in the US state of Arkansas is home to an estimated 1.5 million redwing blackbirds year-round, a species known for flocking in great numbers. On New Year's Eve 2011, thousands of the birds fell from the sky in a single night. The proceeding days saw the town overrun with hazmat suited environmental workers and journalists attempting to explain the perplexing "aflockalypse". After examining the birds' bodies, pathologists found the birds had died from trauma injuries and suggested that they were disturbed from their night roosts by a number of loud bangs, possibly fireworks.
