Editors Corner

AAAH, rain. How I have missed you. Phoenix Rising School children have been focusing on creating a big drink of water for the thirsty trees on their campus. I love it that they are so tuned into nature that they have empathy for the trees. The sprinkle we got today was just a tease of the weekend to come. Join me in blessing the precious rain and welcoming its return.

Dear readers, thanks for opening your email and reading MasterConnection2020.com. We appreciate your loyalty and your participation in this effort. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the emails I receive each week. My inbox bulges every morning. I want you to know that I do read everyone of them, even if I do not reply. I appreciate your input, your suggestions and the links you send my way. Now more than ever MasterConnection2020.com is a collaborative effort with you as an important element in each issue.

Also, I want to remind you that in addition to this weekly newsletter, Ben is posting fabulous new articles on our website every single day. For example: Just the other day you could have read about “Electronics that Vanish in the Environment or the Body” or yesterday the featured article was about New Handheld 3D Imaging Devices that are making it possible for primary care physicians to make diagnoses right in their offices without the delays and expense of sending their patients to a lab or hospital for imaging. If you love science—you don’t want to miss out on Ben’s daily posts. Click here

In this week’s newsletter I would like to direct your attention to an amazing 25 minute video. My head is still spinning for watching it. It is entitled, “Consciousness, Sacred Geometry, Cymatics and the Illusion of Reality”. As I watched the shifting images responding to the frequencies of sound, my body shivered with recognition of something profound. The ancient symbols are haunting the spaces between my thoughts. I can’t get them out of my mind. I don’t want to get them out of my mind. Click here

Mysterious hum reported in Mt Victoria, New Zealand
A mysterious low-pitched humming sound has been troubling some Wellington residents for the last few days and it seems no-one has any idea what it might be. The Wellington City Council has had several calls over the past few days with the most recent being about 5am today. Have you heard the noise or know what it could be? Spokesman Richard MacLean said the complaints had been coming in from Mt Victoria, Newtown and Mt Cook residents. "We are interested to hear if this starts to become a constant thing. We are keeping our ear to the ground."

Strangely Round Rocks of "Unknown Origin"
Well, saying "unknown origin" is an obvious exaggeration, since it is widely assumed that they must be sedimentary concretions, and were created by cementation of mud stone, coastal erosion, time and elements, just like any other unusual rock formation. Yet their bizarre cracked shells, often perfectly spherical shape and unexpected locations remain largely unexplained and keeps them regarded as a "geological mystery". Not to mention other theories: are they fossils? alien eggs? weird energy storage devices from a crashed alien ship? Some even say that they are the... Great Balls of Fire (that fell down on Earth in Biblical times).

FREUDIAN GLITCH? COMEX FUTURES LISTS SILVER AT $34,000/OZ, GOLD AT $17,700/OZ
Did COMEX futures just reveal a Freudian glitch?  Futures data this morning indicated a value of $34,000/oz for silver, and $17,716/oz for gold! The misquoted prices reflect a 1:2 price ratio with silver being 2x as valuable as gold.  Was somebody trying to communicate the fact that future gold to silver value ratio will go from 50:1 to 1:2, with silver prices rising 100 times faster than gold’s?

SCIENTISTS DEVELOP AFFORDABLE SOLAR PANELS THAT WORK IN THE DARK
It's about damn time, don't you think? Scientists at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory announced Wednesday that they have been able to confirm a new high-efficiency solar cell design that utilizes nearly the entire solar spectrum. Translation: They figured out a way to make solar panels generate electricity in the dark. CleanTechnica says, In earlier trials, the researchers used different alloys that achieved full spectrum responses but involved very high production costs. The advantage of gallium arsenide nitride is that it is very similar to a conventional semiconductor, gallium arsenide, and it can be produced with a commonly used fabrication method involving chemical vapor deposition.

Not An Alien World Anyone Of Us Will Ever Be Able To Visit!
This alien world was discovered by astronomers a few years ago. A few months ago, we described 55 Cancri e - a weird and alien-like planet, which is definitely not the type of place where exobiologists would look for life. The planet has long fascinated astronomers and according to a new study conducted by Yale University scientists, it's a diamond planet. "This is our first glimpse of a rocky world with a fundamentally different chemistry from Earth," said lead researcher Nikku Madhusudhan, a Yale postdoctoral researcher in physics and astronomy. "The surface of this planet is likely covered in graphite and diamond rather than water and granite."

Remedy of the Week
The Emotional Side of Damaged DNA

Last week I introduced you to the new product DDR Prime. It is a blend of essential oils designed to encourage damaged DNA response in the body. You will remember that if our cells are damaged they are designed to send a distress signal that elicits what the cells needs to repair itself or failing to repair itself, be eliminated. If this system is working properly, no damaged cells will reproduce forming tumors or other undesirable growth.

DDR Prime Blend has five major components. When I realized the emotional dimension of each of these oils I was struck at the simplicity of this remedy. Of course, it makes sense that these oils would treat the attitudinal causes that damage our genetic code. Let’s take a look at the attitudes that each of these oils address. The descriptions below are from Daniel McDonald’s book, “Emotional Healing with Essential Oils.”

Tunnel Revealed after 67 Years...The Great Escape...
Untouched for almost seven decades, the tunnel used in the Great Escape has finally been unearthed. The 111-yard passage nicknamed Harry by Allied prisoners was sealed by the Germans after the audacious break-out from the POW camp Stalag Luft III in western Poland .. Despite huge interest in the subject, encouraged by the film starring Steve McQueen, the tunnel remained undisturbed over the decades because it was behind the Iron Curtain and the Soviet authorities had no interest in its significance. Unearthed: The entrance to the tunnel, which lay untouched for almost seven decades But at last British archaeologists have excavated it, and discovered its remarkable secrets.

Travel Beyond The Speed Of Light Could Be Possible - Mathematicians Say
Is it really possible to travel faster than light? According to Einstein, the speed of light is the ultimate speed limit in the universe but a team of applied mathematicians at University of Adelaide, have extended Einstein's theory of special relativity to work beyond this limit. Albert Einstein proposed his famous theory in 1905 and explained how motion and speed is always relative to the observer's frame of reference. The theory connects measurements of the same physical incident viewed from these different points in a way that depends on the relative velocity of the two observers.

Giant eyeball found on beach, posing mystery for marine biologists
A giant eyeball that washed ashore and was found by a beachcomber in Pompano Beach, Fla., is mystifying wildlife officials — but probably not for long. The softball-sized eyeball was reported to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission on Wednesday, and wildlife officers put the specimen on ice. It will be preserved and sent to the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla., for analysis. Marine biologists couldn't immediately identify which species of sea creature would be associated with the eye, but researchers will use genetic testing if necessary to solve the mystery, said Carli Segelson, a spokeswoman for the commission. "I shouldn't say this, but they may be able to eyeball it," she told me today.

Kilauea through Kalapana, Hawaii
Two photographers risked their lives to become the first people to capture the explosive moment fiery lava crashes into the sea. Nick Selway, 28, and CJ Kale, 35, braved baking hot 110F waters to capture these images, as they floated just feet from scalding heat and floating lava bombs. The pair, who chase the lava as it flows from Kilauea through Kalapana, Hawaii, spend their days camped on the edge of active volcanoes to capture the incredible images.

Phoenix Rising School

“I am 1,000 percent behind this school.” - Ramtha

Phoenix Rising Welcomes New Staff Member

What’s more challenging: teaching children or raising wolves? This would be a good question for the newest member of the Phoenix Rising team, Megan Moskwa, a math and science teacher who has also been the Director of Education at Wolf Haven International. Megan brings a strong environmental background to Phoenix, along with with a B.S. In Parks, Recreation and Tourism from Michigan State University and an MIT in Elementary Education from City University. Read more about her approach to teaching and passion for the outdoors below.

What drew you to Phoenix Rising?

Initially I had heard a little bit about Phoenix Rising but Aaron had emailed me after he saw my application. I researched it even further and looked at the website and got to know it that way. When I had my interview I walked through the campus and I thought, ‘This place is amazing, with the garden and all the acreage.’

What did you learn from your experience at Wolf Haven that you plan to apply here?

The biggest concept I learned is that we’re all connected. A big thing that I try to teach kids is that if you eliminate anything from the ecosystem, there’s a cascading effect that will affect everything else. That’s what I really grew to appreciate; what’s happening with wolves in Yellowstone means that you’ve eliminated the top predator and that affects everything else. We’re just one part of the whole. This isn’t a new concept. Aldo Leopold wrote about it inSand County Almanac, and that was in 1949. It seems like people are more aware of that nowadays than they used to be.
