Our Time With The Maasai
By Rebecca Capezio, Yelm WA

In January, 2012, five Yelm women traveled to Kenya and spent six nights with the Maasai tribe. The following is Rebecca Capezio’s account of that incredible journey.

I’ll do my best to give you a slice of our Maasai experience.

I went to Kenya with Linda Evans, Jenny Gifford, Yael Klein and Janice Meador in January 2012. When you were experiencing the big January snow storm, we were sweltering in the African heat in 100 degree weather. We had shared a private with Ramtha together in which Ramtha had suggested we visit the Maasai. This is a brief account of our stay there.

I’ll take you in on our last night.

Virtually everyone else had gone to bed. The morans* had jumped and jumped and we had all sang, but it was late now and the children had long gone to bed. It was only Jenny and I who were still at the fire. We didn’t want to leave. We didn’t want to leave our new friends John and Leshan, Suyainka and Kuyan. The stars above us were unabashedly bright and brilliant and while I was staring up at them, I felt my heart crack wide open. Tears began streaming down my face.

*Morans are Maasai warriors

‘Why are you crying?’ our trusted translator asked.

‘Because I’m going to miss you,’ I said, ‘I’m going to miss you all so much.’ And then I clumsily began to sob. How could I express to these most elegant people what a mighty gift my experience with them had been in my life? How could I explain that until I met them I didn’t believe that exquisite harmony amongst a communion of individuals could really exist? My heart was dumbstruck.

Doctors using tiny snake robots to perform surgery
IMAGINE a tiny snake robot crawling through your body, helping a surgeon identify diseases and perform operations. It's not science fiction. Scientists and doctors are using the creeping metallic tools to perform surgery on hearts, prostate cancer, and other diseased organs. The snakebots carry tiny cameras, scissors and forceps, and even more advanced sensors are in the works. For now, they're powered by tethers that humans control. But experts say the day is coming when some robots will roam the body on their own.

2012 Noctilucent Clouds Are Back - But Their Origin Is Still Unknown
The clouds are called noctilucent or "night-shining" clouds (NLCs) and they are a relatively new phenomenon. Previously, they were only seen over almost exclusively in Earth's polar regions, but they are now also visible in the skies over the United States and Europe and else where. There is no doubt any more. The clouds at the edge of space are spreading. Data from NASA's AIM spacecraft show that noctilucent clouds (NLCs) are like a great "geophysical light bulb". They turn on every year in late spring, reaching almost full intensity over a period of no more than 5 to 10 days--and the bulb is glowing.

Fukushima is falling apart: are you ready?
Thirteen months have passed since the Fukushima reactors exploded, and a U.S. Senator finally got off his ass and went to Japan to see what is going on over there. What he saw was horrific. And now he is saying that we are in big trouble. See the letter he sent to U.S. Ambassador to Japan Ichiro Fujisaki, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and NRC’s Chairman Gregory Jaczko here. But what is so ironic about this is that we have been in this heap of trouble since March of 2011. March 17th, to be exact, when the plume of radioactive materials began bombarding the west coast of California.

Injection Wells: The Poison Beneath Us
Over the past several decades, U.S. industries have injected more than 30 trillion gallons of toxic liquid deep into the earth, using broad expanses of the nation's geology as an invisible dumping ground.
No company would be allowed to pour such dangerous chemicals into the rivers or onto the soil. But until recently, scientists and environmental officials have assumed that deep layers of rock beneath the earth would safely entomb the waste for millennia.
There are growing signs they were mistaken.

US military surveillance future: Drones now come in swarms?
A small insect or a mosquito over your ear may now be much more than simply annoying. Those could easily be micro drones which now come in a swarm of bug-sized flying spies. In an effort to create a hard-to-detect surveillance drone that will operate with little or no direct human supervision in out of the way and adverse environments, researchers are mimicking nature. The University of Pennsylvania GRASP Lab showed off a network of 20 nano-quad rotors capable of agile flight, which could swarm and navigate in an environment with obstacles.

Mass grave found of 'giant wombats' the size of a rhinoceros
A mass grave of prehistoric “giant wombats” – a marsupial the size of a rhinoceros – has been discovered in Australia, according to reports. The discovery of about 50 diprotodon skeletons was the biggest to date and could shed light on why the animal become extinct, BBC News reported. Diprotodon, a relative of the modern wombat, was the largest marsupial that ever lived and had a pouch that was large enough to carry an adult human. According to the Australian Museum, it was “widespread across Australia when the first indigenous people arrived, co-existing with them for thousands of years before becoming extinct about 25,000 years ago.” Fortunately for the people, diprotodon ate plants.

Reality check: When the power grid goes down, all grid-tie solar systems will go down with it
A lot of people believe they are becoming "power independent" by installing grid-tie solar systems, but what many don't realize is that virtually all such systems are designed to actively go offline when the power grid goes offline. A "grid-tie" solar system is one that ties into the power grid, pulling electricity from the grid when needed, then pushing excess electricity back into the grid when the local customer isn't using the full capacity being generated by PV panels (photovoltaic). As long as the grid stays up, it's a clever solution because it reduces or even eliminates the customer's electric bills while generating "clean" energy.

Mysteries Of The Sun Explained In Video
Are you curious about the Sun? You now have an excellent chance to learn everything you ever wanted, and even more about our Sun and all its mysteries. Five new videos called "Mysteries of the Sun" have been just released by NASA. The videos describe the science of the sun and its effects on the solar system and Earth. Scientists study the sun not only to better understand the orb that influences life, but also to study how it sends solar material out into space, filling up the bubble that defines the farthest reaches of the solar system. The sun can also impact Earth's technology: solar storms can affect our communications satellites and cause surges in power lines. These movies cover the breadth of solar, heliospheric, and geospace science, a field known as heliophysics.

Runners & Mirrors

The End of A World
In early 1985 I saw a vision of empty and abandoned tower blocks in my home town near Helsinki, Finland. I sensed the approaching of some great catastrophe that would affect the whole area. I chose to buy a remote farm far in the country and resettled my family on a hill almost 100 meters above the sea-level.
In 1990 I read my first books by Ramtha who warned about great Earth Changes that would change the whole planet; sea-levels would rise about 100 meters and most major towns would be submerged. By then I had already abandoned my farm and my family in search of myself. I had returned back to the region of my home town by the coast.

Remedy of the Week
MRSA infection

Is it voodoo? Is it real? Who decides?

This week I received an alarming call from my brother, a nurse, in Las Vegas, NV. He had been admitted to the hospital with MRSA in his blood stream. I have told him about essential oils, but he just dismissed them as medicine, because he is so indoctrinated with “real medicine”. I flew to Las Vegas to be with him for the surgery that was required to remove the pace maker that was entraining his heart.

I am offering this remedy to you this week as a kind of therapy for me. He does not believe the essential oils will work, even though there is peer reviewed medical testing to prove that the blend OnGuard kills MRSA. Click here One thing I know for sure is that it won’t work if you don’t use it.

I am reminded that the only impossible thing in the world is a closed mind. I hope yours is open if and when you ever need this information.

OnGuard is a blend of Wild Orange, Clove bud, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary.

For more information about OnGuard and all doTERRA essential oils contact Anita Marriott 360-894-6754 or

Instead of banning soda, maybe it's time we banned stupid government bans
As the Health Ranger, I'm on the record strongly opposing soda consumption. Years ago, I wrote the popular self-help guide, "The Five Soft Drink Monsters," which helps soda addicts get off sodas and transition to healthier drinks like tea or water. Yet even I think the sudden wave of interest in nanny-state cities like New York and Cambridge wanting to ban soda sales is pure insanity. For starters, I'm trying to wrap my head around the idea that states are increasingly decriminalizing marijuana even as they are moving toward criminalizing sodas. Before long, if a New York police officer happens upon a gang banger smoking a joint and drinking a Big Gulp soda, the kid will be arrested for the soda, not the joint!

You Decide

Interesting discovery ...
A boy has stunned medics with his ability to see in pitch black with eyes that glow in the dark. Doctors have studied Nong Youhui's amazing eyesight since his dad took him to hospital in Dahua, southern China, concerned over his bright blue eyes. Dad Ling said: "They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did." Medical tests conducted in complete darkness show Youhui can read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day. Could Nong Youhui be a Hybrid or Star-child? A new and growing generation of extraordinary and gifted children are springing up across our planet, is the human species evolving, or possibly our Extraterrestrial visitors tinkering with our DNA? As always you decide.

Pictured: The UFO-shaped object found at the bottom of the Baltic Sea... covered in soot, with 'little fireplaces' and lying at the end of a 1,000ft runway
Sceptics expected that a deep-water dive would debunk the slew of extra-terrestrial theories surrounding an unidentified object sitting at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. But the Swedish expedition team that took the plunge surfaced with more questions than answers - and certainly no solution to its origins. The divers found that the object, which some have likened to the Millennium Falcon because of its unusual round outline, was raised about 10 to 13ft above the seabed and curved in at the sides, giving it a mushroom shape.

Man owned & drove the same car for 82 years
They certainly don't make them like that any more.
This man Owned & Drove Same Car for 82 YEARS. Can you imagine having the same car for 82 years! "How Long Have You Owned a Car?" Mr. Allen Swift ( Springfield , MA.) received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Piccadilly-P1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928. He drove it up until his death last the age of 102 !!! He was the oldest living owner of a car that was purchased new. Just thought you'd like to see it.
It was donated to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 1,070,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition. (82 years). That's approximately 13,048 miles per year.
