Happy Chinese New Year!

Every culture carries within it, tidbits of truth and wisdom, albeit often surrounded in misinformation. Here is an example of such a curious bit of information, open to interpretation, of what the Ching Dynasty predicted for this year: (Please read beyond the "doomsday" predictions and see what they say).

2012 is Year of the Black Water Dragon and it will arrive on February 4, 2012. (Note: Chinese New Year Day is on January 23, 2012.
The first day of 2012 Chinese Astrology Year is on February 4, 2012.)

Doomsday 2012: The End of Days I Ching

Therefore, people talk about the doomsday possibilities in 2012. such as:

• A collision of asteroid, meteor or comet with Earth
• Coronal Mass Ejection from the Sun
• Magnetic Pole Drifting
• Explosion from Black Hole
• Religious Apocalypse - the Judgment Day

In China, there is no doomsday prediction for 2012 besides Hollywood movies. On the contrary, China has one prophecy regarding 2012 from Ching 清 Dynasty:

It said that a wise man will appear to make the world prosperous and peaceful in the year of Black Dragon.

Another excerpt from a link to this says:

"In General, something to do with Water will be the main event happening in the December 2012. Water is related to rains, oceans, flooding, rivers, lakes, dams, cold, tsunamis, hurricanes or even mudslides. Global warming or a magnetic pole drifting phenomenon might cause a natural Water disaster. However, there is no evidence or special sign to cause such a global disaster in December 2012. The end of a cycle is the beginning of another new cycle. It implies a new hope for the tomorrow."

As I am understanding and experiencing it, this applies to ways in which our outer world reacts to our inner need for balance. Whenever a natural
"disaster" occurs, it brings all of us back to the present, and helps us to realize what is really important. We then start caring and helping each other.

When we can have these realizations internally, our outer world doesn't need to jar us into that state, but rather, we, embodying these qualities, can then affect the field and re-establish "flow" around us in our external world; hence, the notion of being a "good steward" and "in deed", changing reality.

Let's see a new vortex opening up over each of our "worlds" as it has over the Middle East, so that as the butterfly ripples expand, we'll not need
Mother Nature, Ra , or the Lord of the Wind to have to jar us on a more "impressive" level into waking up! LOL

Here is the O.T. koan I wrote to describe my latest shift, that has come about by the removal of just one small piece of "straw."

The same straw that breaks the camel's back,
Taken from the dam, restores the flow.
Fed to the camel,
Nourished, passes through the eye of the needle
Into Bliss, without leaving.

Love and joy,
